About the Role:

  • Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of mechanical project management including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Proven working experience in project management, with a mechanical bias
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
  • Project Management Professional (PRINCE2 or APM) certification is a plus
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
