A privately owned Main Contractor that is working on a framework delivering leisure and education refurbishment projects across Sheffield.
The Role
Project managing multiple fast paced refurbishments to buildings ranging in value from 50k to 1.5 million across South Yorkshire.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
As the Project Manager you must possess the following;
- Prior experience within the construction industry working for a Main Contractor for a minimum of 3 years.
- Prior experience with refurbishment projects between 50k - 1.5m
- A good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks and obligations.
- Well organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the works.
Duties
- Formulate, develop and monitor a program of works
- Setting up and chairing sub-contractor and client progress meetings throughout the construction period.
- Manage day to day operational aspects of the project(s)
- Reviewing all contractor RAM's
- Assist the Commercial Director with project costings
- Ensure quality is controlled and maintained through the projects.
- Manage successful handover of projects and the aftercare that follows.
