- Managing new and existing relationships
- Regular building inspections and surveys as required
- Managing minor works and refurbishments ensuring all buildings are maintained to a high standard
- Ensuring all statutory and regulatory checks are conducted and recorded to ensure compliance with legislation
- Negotiating all lease, assignment and rent renewals
- Maintaining good commercial tenant relationships
- Leadership of a small lettings team
- Responsibility for ensuring annual service charge accounts are calculated, invoiced and collected accordingly
- Working with accounts team on arrears and debtors
- Maintaining a good general knowledge of trends, initiatives, and news within the property industry
- Previous experience working in property management, estate management or buildings management
- Fully conversant with regulations and legislation associated with commercial and residential lettings
- Working knowledge of building management, maintenance, and running repair projects
- Strong and assertive communicator at all levels, confident at consulting with a variety of stakeholders
- A team player, preferably with management experience
- Full driving licence
