We are seeking a Technician in the Subsidence Team of our impressive Insurance client where you’ll utilise your specialist subsidence claims experience. Taking ownership of your caseload, you will be responsible for handling cases from receipt to conclusion, liaising with experts to investigate, validate and make recommendations, allowing you to agree settlement in a timely manner. This role offers the opportunity to work mainly remotely - some attendance at the office in the Sheffield area will be required, however frequency is negotiable.

Key Skills:

  • To triage and decide the most appropriate claims handling solution, including desktop handling, use of digital solutions and instructing external Surveyors
  • To provide exceptional customer service at all times, including Stakeholders, Customers, Clients and Brokers
  • Full end to end claims handling process, escalating as required
  • Address and resolve disputes or claims with professionalism and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Experience in property related claims and principles
  • Specialist knowledge of subsistence claims
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • High degree of IT competency
  • Detail-orientated with a strong focus on client satisfaction
  • Relevant professional qualification (Dip CILA.CAAIII) or keen to undertake sponsored study
