Job Role: NDT Technician - Ultrasonics
Location: Sheffield
Shift: Monday to Friday, Regular Days. Permanent.
Salary: Salary from 35,000 - 38,000 per annum. Regular overtime realistically takes salary to over 41,000 per annum.
Metalis are working in partnership with a busy Manufacturing business in Sheffield, who offer in-house and on-site testing services, for a range of industries ranging from Aerospace, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Medical and General Engineering Industries. They require an experienced NDT Technician, PCN Level 2 Qualified in Ultrasonics, Forgings and Wrought Products. The right candidate, will be joining a busy and expanding team at their site in Sheffield, on a permanent basis.
Job Duties:
- Carrying out inspection both on and off-site - Ultrasonics Inspection
- Evaluate and report on test results
- Maintain equipment and calibration systems.
- The ideal candidate will be PCN and SNT Level 2 qualified in ultrasonic inspection of forgings/wrought products, together with MPI/DPI inspection.
- A minimum of 5 years industrial experience is required.
