Doncaster Adults respite are now looking for a Deputy/Assistant to the manager, this is Grade 8 annual salary is £31,372, they would receive an 8.5 % all-inclusive allowance and is a perm role. 

This is 37 hours a week. The rota is shifts comprising of 7am-3pm, 2pm – 10pm, sleep ins and every other weekend. Managing the day-to-day operations of Eden Lodge and Wickett Hern Rd, ensuring the provision of high-quality short stay services in compliance with Care Quality Commission and CDC contractual residential standardsWe seek a calm, resourceful, and energetic individual who is motivated, hardworking, and eager to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will provide person-centred care and support to individuals within our service, demonstrating positive communication and engagement skills, unconditional positive regard for the individuals we support, and the ability to accept responsibility and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner. The candidate must follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive management team.

Essential Requirements•    Minimum level 3 (health and social care) desirable level 4•    Level of written and verbal English.•    Experience in Health & Social Care•    Experience in implementing care planning and processes, service operating procedures and working with quality assurance systems.•    Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.•    Knowledge of relevant and current national strategies, Health and Social Care legislation and initiatives associated with the post•    Awareness of working in a Community Led Support Model•    Use of IT systems, outlook, explorer email, word, excel, service user recording systems. •    Effective professional communications liaising with other professionals•    Ability to lone work•    Ability to respond positively to and actively support Senior Management within the service.•    Ability to provide motivational support to behaviour changes. •    Ability to demonstrate personal accountability, resilience, and work well under pressure•    Experience and knowledge of medication processes and best practice. •    Working knowledge of safeguarding processes. •    Skills and knowledge to take on additional responsibilities as they arise. •    To undertake to corporate skills to care programme. 

DesirableExperience of working with individuals with a learning disability/ADHDVaried service experience including residential, day care, working in a changing environment.Experience of dementia and associated disabilitiesExperience of challenging behaviours and positive behaviour support plansAbility to travel across locality areas when required.Willingness to work flexible to the service to meet work demands.
