Junior Buyer (12-month FTC) – Sheffield/Hybrid - £26,000 - £32,000 + Bonus
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a great business in the Chapeltown area of Sheffield as they look to recruit an Junior Buyer to support the procurement team on a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity.

Junior Buyer Responsibilities:
- Reviewing contracts that are nearing expiry and assisting with renewal processes
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers and vendors
- Negotiating terms, prices and KPIs for low-risk contracts
- Checking contract specifications, terms and KPIs prior to signing
- Keeping systems and spreadsheets up to date at all times
- Acting as the first point of contact for any system related queries
- Analysing spending on purchases to find trends and opportunities
- Reviewing and analysing spending outside of purchase orders
- Tracking and reporting cost savings and added value
Hours – Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Person Specification:
- Previous experience within a procurement role
- Excellent computer skills including MS Excel
- Confidence speaking with people of all levels over the phone and email
- Great attention to detail
