Procurement Category Manager | South Yorkshire | £38,000 - £42,000 | Perm | Hybrid

Client:Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in South Yorkshire to recruit a Procurement Manager on a permanent basis. *The salary will have a market supplement of £7,500*A strong background in Public sector procurement, with procurement expertise across one or more categories is required. The role offers a hybrid working policy; 2 days on-site, 3 days working from home.

Role:• Managing end to end tender processes to meet a variety of stakeholder requirements • To provide management, leadership and expertise to direct line reports• Provide expert knowledge of and compliance with Public Sector Regulations• Implementing transformative change initiatives and developing innovation to unlock the full potential of best practice procurement

Individual:• Ideally suited to a candidate with experience and knowledge of public sector regulations• A strong background in procurement, with a proactive mindset and a willingness to come in and hit the ground running
