Zachary Daniels are delightewd to be partnered with a leading prmium fashion brand in the recruitment of a Senior Merchandiser. Our client is in their most exciting phase of growth. They are doubling in size and have an established footprint on either side of the Atlantic with countless high profile endorsements amplifying their growth pattern! Leading a small team this Senior Merchandiser position will be key accomodating this growth through effective planning and stock management across all channels. Other responsibilities include:

  • Merchandise Planning & Strategy:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive merchandise plans in line with seasonal strategies, sales forecasts, and brand objectives.
    • Collaborate with design, and retail teams to ensure optimal product assortments across all channels (retail, online, wholesale).
    • Analyse historical data and market trends to anticipate consumer demand and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Stock Control & Inventory Management:

    • Oversee stock levels to ensure product availability aligns with demand, avoiding both overstocking and stockouts.
    • Manage the replenishment process across various channels to optimize inventory flow and reduce excess stock.
    • Work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and efficient stock allocation.
  • WSSI Management:

    • Lead the preparation and management of the WSSI to track sales, inventory levels, and stock intake.
    • Provide weekly and monthly reports on stock performance, identifying key trends, potential risks, and opportunities.
    • Make data-driven recommendations to optimize stock levels and improve overall profitability.
  • Allocation & Distribution:

    • Oversee the allocation of stock to stores, e-commerce, and wholesale channels based on demand forecasts and sales trends.
    • Work with the logistics team to ensure timely and efficient distribution of products across all regions.
    • Monitor performance of allocated stock and adjust allocation plans as necessary to meet sales targets.
  • Demand Planning & Forecasting:

    • Collaborate with the product team to build accurate demand forecasts based on sales history, seasonality, and market trends.
    • Analyse product performance to optimize future purchasing decisions and manage stock levels effectively.
    • Provide insights into future product and stocking decisions, helping to mitigate risks associated with demand fluctuations.
  • Import & Supply Chain Coordination:

    • Coordinate with the supply chain team and third-party vendors to ensure timely importation of goods and adherence to lead times.
    • Monitor the progress of orders, ensuring that any delays or issues are promptly addressed to maintain the flow of inventory.
    • Work with international suppliers to ensure efficient supply chain processes and compliance with import regulations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration & Reporting:

    • Work closely with Design, Retail, and E-commerce teams to ensure a seamless merchandising process.
    • Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management regarding stock performance, sales trends, and key metrics.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing overall efficiency.
