Salary: 49,600including shift allowance

Role Overview:

As an Electrical Shift Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and optimising industrial systems. This role demands a proactive individual who can lead a small team effectively, ensuring smooth operations and swift problem resolution. The position involves working 12-hour shifts, including weekends, in Stocksbridge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a small team of engineers
- Maintain and troubleshoot various industrial systems, including hydraulic systems, pumps, drives, gearboxes, heavy machinery, water cooling systems, material handling systems, dust extraction systems, robotics, PLCs, vacuum systems, and AC & DC circuits
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure seamless operations
- Methodically fault find and rectify issues to their root cause
- Operate within permit systems and prioritise tasks based on resource availability

Essential Criteria:

- A recognised engineering apprenticeship (Preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent)
- Extensive knowledge and experience in plant engineering and industrial systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to fault finding
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Experience or knowledge of working under permit systems
- Customer-focused attitude with a keen understanding of prioritisation
