Think Property and Surveying are delighted to have been instructed to recruit a Technical Estates Manager for a large multi academy trust based across South Yorkshire. The trust consists of around 30 primary and secondary schoolsites, and is rapidlygrowing in size.
They want to recruit someone to work with the Director of Estates, supporting their Estates strategy, maintenance and development. You will need strong technical building fabric knowledge, project management and delivery experience and an understanding of Hard Facilities Management and Maintenance.
This role would suit someone with a building surveying background as you will need to able to diagnose building pathology and recommend repairs. You will also need to understand the complexity of delivering maintenance schedules and capital projects on a live, occupied site, where there are strict safeguarding requirements in place.
