We are seeking a compassionate and highly organised Business Support Officer to join a leading public sector organisation. This role is based at the Medico Legal Centre and involves providing front-of-house reception duties and administrative support, with a focus on assisting recently bereaved members of the public.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Managing the front-of-house reception desk, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Handling incoming calls with sensitivity and discretion.
  • Responding to enquiries and providing information as required.
  • Reviewing ongoing cases and maintaining accurate records.
  • Meeting and greeting clients, offering support and guidance during difficult times.
  • Performing general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the centre.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated hyper-organisation skills.
  • Compassion and empathy, with the ability to support clients in sensitive situations.
  • Previous experience in administrative tasks and reception roles.
  • Experience in welcoming families who have come to view their loved ones.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
