Your new role
This school is currently looking for a full-time attendance administrator to start as soon as possible. Your time in this role will include:

  • Ensure completion of registers by all staff
  • Ensure the absences of students are tracked
  • Chase parents/guardians regarding absences
  • Monitor attendance of students
  • Update records
  • Support the attendance officer on home visits

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would have:

  • Strong IT skills,
  • Experience with home visits
  • Respect for safeguarding and confidentiality,
  • A strong ability to communicate well
  • Work as part of a team and as an individual
  • Use your own initiative
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Maintain attention to detail and be organised, motivated and punctual.


We will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum and you will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.
