Bodyshop Supervisor / Workshop Controller - We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Supervisor / Workshop Controller who comes from a vehicle body repair background, to assist in the leadership team, leading a successful team of around 15 Bodyshop technicians within the centre.

Working to the highest industry standards, our client leads the way using cutting-edge techniques and equipment to provide unrivalled quality along with a large output of quality used car stock.Ideally you will have previously worked as Bodyshop supervisor / assistant bodyshop manager or workshop controller, and be up to date with industry standards and repair methods.

The Job: Bodyshop Supervisor / Assistant Bodyshop manager / Workshop Controller

The Bodyshop Team Leader will be supporting the Production Manager in a busy and bodyshop focusing on working around tight deadlines to ensure customer requirements are being maintained and standards are met.
You will be experienced with reporting, target setting and also be hands on when required
The different production departments that you will be involved with are body repair, allow wheel and SMART repair.
You will be someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on attitude and at heart with a data-driven mindset, sharing fresh ideas for how to apply best practice to improve efficiency by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
Oversee the production process to ensure vehicles remain on schedule, highlighting any delays as soon as possible
Meet and exceed all KPIs such as: Productivity, Efficiency, Utilisation and Work in Progress (WIP).
Final Quality control checks and ' Sign Off '
Place stock orders and ensure regular stock checks are carried out
Provide daily updates on vehicles that have failed Quality Control checks.
