We are looking for a proactive and organised Hire Controller to join the team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations by coordinating equipment hires, managing logistics, and delivering outstanding customer service.

• Handling customer inquiries and processing hire requests efficiently
• Coordinating equipment deliveries, collections, and availability
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Ensuring optimum fleet utilisation to maximise efficiency
• Maintaining accurate records using inventory management software
• Resolving hire-related issues promptly and professionally
• Collaborating with internal teams to streamline operations

• Experience in equipment hire, logistics, or rental management (preferred but not essential—training provided)
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of construction or plant machinery (beneficial but not required)
• Comfortable using computer software for inventory tracking and logistics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve effectively
• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
