Solutions Engineer - Autonomous Robotics

Are you passionate about ground-based robots and excited by the prospect of empowering machines to perceive, decide, and navigate the world? If so, an exciting opportunity awaits!

This position would be ideal for someone with a technical background in robotics who has transitioned into customer-facing roles, such as technical sales, customer success, pre-sales, or requirements engineering.

The background:

With years of groundbreaking research, this group of experts have pioneered novel research to enable machines to behave more naturally. This innovative approach offers a robust, lightweight, and ultra-low-powered alternative to current methods used in autonomy.

Your Mission:

As a customer foused Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the commercial team, playing a pivotal role in understanding customer requirements, challenges, and needs. Your responsibilities will span the entire sales process, from technical demonstrations and proof of concept to integrating technologies into client products.

There’s plenty of time factored in to this role to learn and understand the product range with in-house experts able to train you in their systems and intricacies of their AI solutions and what they’re capable of - but a technical degree or a few years working in industry will be key to enabling you to become a subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute test methods for complex real-world robotics systems.

Support field sales activities to help achieve commercial goals.

Develop strong technical relationships with key robotic customers.

Consult with customers on innovative solutions

Act as a bridge between the development experts and customers to ensure good communication.

Provide technical support during integration with expertise in robotics integration

There is a significant amount of travel involved with this position and you can expect to be flying around the world on a regular basis - the last two months have involved site visits for the team who spent a week in Japan and a week in San Francisco

What’s in it for you?

Great salaries, clear progression routes and personal development plans, great company benefits and a progressive culture where employees are empowered to do their best work rather than being caught up in red tape.
