This unique hybrid role offers a mix of account management and business development responsibilities, with the opportunity to evolve into a dedicated Business Development Manager position by 2026.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in managing a portfolio of existing accounts, growing relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Initially, you'll work in a hybrid capacity, managing the key accounts while driving targeted business development efforts. By 2026, your role will fully transition into business development, with clear pathways for future progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Grow and develop a portfolio of existing accounts
* Identify opportunities for account growth and upsell services
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
* Proactively seek new business opportunities
* Conduct research and respond to tenders to secure new work
* Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the company's marketing efforts
* Contribute to monthly revenue targets
* Stay informed about industry trends to support clients and identify opportunities for growth
* Adhere to company policies and standards
What We're Looking For
We need a highly motivated individual with strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a passion for both sales and account management. The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience with tenders and bids
* Knowledge of LinkedIn for business networking
* Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Outlook
* A proactive, adaptable mindset
* Experience in facilities management, maintenance, or engineering service industries would be advantageous
* Familiarity with service-based business models

* Salary £35,000 + bonus scheme (aligned with company turnover and new business wins)
