Business Development Manager – Aerospace

Our cliwnr is an established sub-contract medium to heavy engineering business with a long history and with exciting plans to grow sales in our strategic markets.

We are looking to strengthen our established sales team by appointing an experienced and motivated:

  • Business Development Manager – Aerospace and Machining

As a business we are generating significant opportunities and are looking to underpin the sales with further support. This role will work alongside our existing bid team to grow sales in our market sectors.  

The Business Development Manager will play a decisive role in building and developing new and existing customer accounts, generating sales within the aerospace and general machining sectors, capitalising on the company’s reputation of engineering expertise and complementing our ongoing capital equipment investment plan.

The successful applicant will ideally be from a medium to heavy engineering background.  The role will be required to build business relationships with new and existing clients, produce detailed technical quotes by interpreting and understanding technical information supplied by the clients, communicate with clients to follow up quotes produced and seek further business opportunities.  Experience in precision machining/fabrication and estimating is essential for this role. This role can be based at our sales office in Oldham or Sheffield with a preference being Oldham. There will also be an element of nationwide travel and client visits to support these objectives.

As a company we have a strong manufacturing capability and history, with over 160 years manufacturing from the Oldham site with future opportunities now being explored at our Sheffield site
