Key Responsibilities:
Upsell Solutions:Enhance relationships by upselling waste and recycling solutions to existing customers.
Risk Assessments:Conduct thorough client site risk assessments and audits.
Inquiry Handling:Manage inbound inquiries, pre-qualify opportunities, and respond to queries within 24 hours.
Market Monitoring:Keep a pulse on market trends and competitor activities, reporting findings regularly.
CRM Management: Update the CRM daily with precise prospect information.
Networking:Showcase our client's services by participating in regional networking events.
KPI Reporting:Complete weekly KPI sheets and actively contribute to regular sales meetings.
Appointment Booking:Schedule appointments with key management personnel in target organisations.
Cross-Selling:Introduce additional services, such as shredding and hazardous waste, to existing clients.
Prioritisation:Effectively manage diary and priorities to ensure optimal productivity.
Team Support:Assist the administration and service team in implementing new services.
Adaptability:Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by your Line Manager.
Experience:
Sales Background:Minimum 12 months continuous employment in a busines Development Manager role.
Service Contracts:Proven experience in selling service contracts.
Waste Industry Knowledge:Previous work experience within the waste management.
CRM Proficiency:Familiarity with using CRM systems.
Service Implementation:Experience in implementing new services for customers.
B2B Selling:Background in a Business-to-Business selling environment.
Sales Processes:Understanding of sales processes and stages.
Buying Signals:Ability to recognise and respond to buying signals.
