Ranson Barnes Recruitment Ltd is excited to partner with a market leading and well established Sheffield based engineering company.
Due to further expansion, our client is now seeking a permanent Sales Professional with a demonstrable track record in the development of new business sales in the very wide and diverse field of Mechanical Engineering. It would be expected that the candidate be from a sales background and be target driven.
This is mainly an office-based role concentrating on generating leads and developing customer relationships.
Job Role
- Identify leads and target relevant companies
- Develop prospects from qualified leads
- Engage with the prospect company to identify needs and opportunities
- Secure enquiries for suitable contracts
- Follow-up on submitted proposals and quotations to prospects
- Negotiate and resolve any objections to the submitted proposal/quotation
- Convert proposals and quotations to orders
- Ensure the CRM system is utilised and updated to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain customer relationships to build repeat business
Ideal Experience
- Ability to drive sales and build strong client relationships
- Generating leads and identifying target contacts
- Strong prospecting and sales experience
- Track record of selling into relevant sectors
- Experience of selling bespoke/high volume contracts
- Experience of negotiating contracts
