As a Multi Skilled Host, you will be the heart of the workplace, anticipating customer needs and providing a 'hassle-free' experience designed to make life easier and enhance the wellbeing of colleagues and visitors. You will deliver people-focused services to ensure a cohesive and connected workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients, visitors, colleagues, and business partners with exceptional front-of-house service at all times.
  • Plan and prioritize your work according to the needs of the site as directed by your Line Manager.
  • Conduct daily building walks to ensure the space is tidy and reset to a high standard.
  • Act as the first point of contact for building occupants, resolving issues, and providing proactive assistance as required.
  • Support engagement activities and events, including games for wellbeing and meeting room technology.
  • Ensure the building complies with current Health & Safety legislation.
  • Ensure that building communications and information are displayed correctly and up to date.
  • Log and update requests made via the Facilities Helpdesk system promptly and in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Work alongside other service teams such as housekeeping and security to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide front-of-house services across multiple floors, assisting with meetings and events as needed.
  • Collaborate with the in-house engineering team to complete tasks to the highest standards.
  • Maintain and promote the organization's core values.
  • Provide administrative support and portering services when required.
  • Monitor building occupancy and utilization, and report as needed.
  • Assist with site inductions for new colleagues and building users.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in a professional manner.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation, becoming a subject matter expert where appropriate.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is essential.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive in seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage changing deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Organized, self-motivated, dependable, and flexible in scheduling and prioritization.
