My client is dedicated to powering schools and enabling great teaching worldwide through their innovative online products and services. They are looking for a seasonedStrategic Accounts Executiveto join their team and help them build and expand relationships with their most strategically important large customers.

Role Overview:

As a Strategic Accounts Executive, you will manage and grow a portfolio of high-value Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) and School Groups. You will develop deep, strategic relationships across various levels of the organization, from C-level executives to school administrators.

Your role will involve retaining and upselling existing subscriptions, cross-selling additional company software solutions, and developing bespoke commercial proposals that deliver value for both the company and their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:Retain and grow revenue within your set of Strategic Accounts through upselling and cross-selling.

Relationship Building:Establish and maintain a network of complex commercial relationships with key stakeholders across your Accounts.

Strategic Planning:Develop and execute tailored strategic plans for each account to maximize sales opportunities.

Sales Execution:Achieve ambitious revenue targets by managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.

Market Insight:Leverage your extensive market knowledge to create impactful commercial solutions and maintain a competitive edge.

Negotiation:Build and negotiate profitable commercial deals at the highest level, ensuring long-term value for both the company and their customers.

CRM Management:Maintain accurate records and forecasting within the CRM system.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within software solutions, with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong experience in selling to C-level executives and managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to demonstrate and sell a range of software solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of the relationship between revenue, cost, and profitability.
  • Expert negotiation skills with the ability to craft and secure profitable deals.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, able to develop and execute tailored strategies for each account.
  • A passion for customer success and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
