Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive / Key Accounts Executive required to join a global leader in engineering software.

I am looking for a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales - Key Accounts Executive with an Engineering Sales, Technical Sales or Software Sales background who is looking to develop their career with an organisation that offers extensive product training across a broad range of engineering software products. As well as the opportunity to achieve year-on-year promotion and career development.


You will support a corporate strategic initiative to develop industry-leading sales skills and drive revenue growth. Working for a market leader with a high level of predicted annual revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and/orprospective customers tomaintain renewal business andgenerate new business.
  • Selling industry leading industrial software
  • Identify and position the best software solution as per customer requirements.
  • Engage with customers and prospects via telephone, video conference, email and LinkedIn, as well as face-to-face meetings.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customersand expanding existing accounts.
  • Develop written proposals / quotations.
  • Provide accurate forecasts for new sales and renewal revenues.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions; product training and seminars.
  • Creates and maintains account plans for existing customers and prospective customers, highlighting and profiling potential users and technical solutions.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing,account team, sales management,finance,legaland technical services groups.

Requirements
  • Some exposure within a commercial position including Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Executive, Accounts Manager, Account Representative, Sales Manager, Sales Representative, or similar field-based sales role with an engineering Degree.
  • Bachelors degree in technical, engineering, mechanical / electrical / electronic engineering, business or related field
  • 1+ years of experience of demonstrated success in either an engineering, technical, business or sales position.
  • To be office-based with high levels of travel to customer sites across the UK required.
  • Commutable to Office in Sheffield
