Sharp Consultancy are excited to be recruiting for the role of a part-time Accounts Assistant at a successful manufacturing business in Sheffield. The business, which spans Europe, is seeking a driven and dedicated Accounts Assistant to join their small, dynamic team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

Credit control

Maintaining accurate purchase ledger

Produce accurate monthly reports
-
Produce banking payments
-
Ensure the timely distribution of client orders

Undertake ad-hoc accountancy & administrative duties
-
Conduct elements of customer service duties
Criterion for Successful Candidate:

Previous experience in a similar position

Strong written & verbal communication skills
-
Strong ability to undertake customer-facing duties
-
Organised & keen eye for detail
-
Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g. Sage) is preferred
