Manual Machinist/Vertical Borer

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimise or eliminate rework to achieve quality surface finishes
• Collect data, such as recording measurements before and after machining
• Conduct visual inspections on bore finishes
• Safely handle and load/unload tubes using an overhead crane
• Identify and address quality issues to ensure products meet standards
• Familiarity with modern management techniques, including TPM and 5S
• Maintain a high standard of safety in line with company policies and procedures

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience with long bed lathes
• Previous experience as a vertical borer or large turner on manual machines
