Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a full time Biology Teacher to support a secondary school in the Sheffield, S36 area starting September 2024 until December 2024 with the potential for an extension.

To be successful in the Biology Teacher role, you should:

  • (Must) Hold QTS qualification or equivalent.
  • (Must) Hold a biology qualification.
  • (Must) Hold eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad).
  • Previous experience teaching KS3/ KS4.
  • Previous experience teaching the science curriculum.
  • A passion for Science!
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.

As a Biology Teacher, you will be:

  • Creating and presenting inspiring science lessons.
  • Complete risk assessments and preparations for practicals.
  • Marking and assessing students' work.
  • Ensure students are working towards objectives and the science curriculum.
  • Manage the classroom to support all students' learning needs.
  • Build rapport with your students and other members of the science department.
