Job title: Secondary Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Payrate: £150 - £200 per day

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic maths lessons for Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
• Use real-world examples to make abstract concepts more relatable and understandable.
• Track student progress, offering feedback that supports growth and improvement.
• Create an inclusive classroom where all students feel confident and supported in their learning.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the school community and curriculum.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• A degree in Mathematics or a relevant field
• Experience preferred with Secondary Schools
• Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply
• DBS on the Update Service required
• Passion for teaching and motivating young learners
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in simple and engaging ways
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
