About the role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of students at varying levels of ability. You will work to inspire a love for mathematics, ensuring students are challenged and supported in reaching their full potential. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher looking to make an immediate impact in a dynamic school setting.
Responsibilities of the Maths Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective math lessons to students.
- Support students in their learning, adapting teaching methods to suit different abilities.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Requirements of the Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and experience teaching at the secondary school level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
