This position offers a temporary-to-permanent contract for the right candidate.
Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons to inspire a love for mathematics among students. You will play a crucial role in fostering their academic and personal development, preparing them for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Use innovative teaching strategies to engage and challenge students of all abilities.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress to support their academic achievements.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share effective teaching practices.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and school activities as required.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a qualified Maths Teacher who is passionate about making a difference in students' lives. The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant teaching qualification with QTS or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
- A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum for Maths.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- A proactive and flexible approach to teaching.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Provide an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
