Are you an energetic and committed PE Teacher looking to inspire students across schools in Sheffield? This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and help shape the physical education of young learners.

GSL Education are currently seeking a proactive PE Teacher to join schools in Sheffield. As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you’ll be working with students across various key stages, helping them develop their athletic skills, teamwork, and passion for sports, while also supporting their academic curriculum and goals.

Responsibilities of a PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons according to the national curriculum.
  • Design and adapt the syllabus for different Key Stages.
  • Provide focused support to students in both group settings and one-to-one sessions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enrich the school's PE programme.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

PE Teacher Job Requirements:

  • Holding QTS or equivalent, such as PGCE or ECT.
  • A degree in Physical Education or Sports is preferred.
  • Proven sports experience, either through coaching or competitive participation.
  • Strong understanding of the PE curriculum and experience teaching across various Key Stages.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for physical education and commitment to promoting an active lifestyle.
