Are you an enthusiastic PE Teacher ready to inspire and engage students in Sheffield?
GSL Education offers a fantastic opportunity to join schools in Sheffield as a Teacher of Physical Education (PE), dedicated to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for sports and physical activity.
You will be instrumental in helping students develop their skills, teamwork, and overall physical fitness while delivering a dynamic and engaging PE curriculum as a PE Teacher.
Responsibilities of PE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver exciting PE lessons that adhere to the national curriculum.
- Adapt the syllabus to suit students across different Key Stages.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to ensure all students reach their potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the PE programme.
- Track and assess student performance, providing feedback for improvement.
PE Teacher Job Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent, such as PGCE or ECT
- A degree in Physical Education or Sports-related field.
- Strong sports experience, either through coaching or competitive sports involvement.
- Solid understanding of the PE curriculum with experience across various Key Stages.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for physical education and a dedication to promoting an active, healthy lifestyle.
