GSL Education offers a fantastic opportunity to join schools in Sheffield as a Teacher of Physical Education (PE), dedicated to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for sports and physical activity.

You will be instrumental in helping students develop their skills, teamwork, and overall physical fitness while delivering a dynamic and engaging PE curriculum as a PE Teacher.

Responsibilities of PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver exciting PE lessons that adhere to the national curriculum.
  • Adapt the syllabus to suit students across different Key Stages.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to ensure all students reach their potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the PE programme.
  • Track and assess student performance, providing feedback for improvement.

PE Teacher Job Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent, such as PGCE or ECT
  • A degree in Physical Education or Sports-related field.
  • Strong sports experience, either through coaching or competitive sports involvement.
  • Solid understanding of the PE curriculum with experience across various Key Stages.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for physical education and a dedication to promoting an active, healthy lifestyle.
