About the Role: As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging students of all abilities, fostering a love of sports and fitness, and helping students achieve their best in both practical and theoretical aspects of PE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering dynamic and engaging PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to support individual development.
- Organising and participating in school sports events and extracurricular activities.
- Ensuring students' safety and well-being during physical activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A passion for physical education and a commitment to promoting health and fitness.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
