Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess innovative Religious Studies lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, sparking their curiosity about the world's diverse faiths and ethical questions.
- Explore deep topics: From world religions and their cultural impact to ethical debates and moral philosophy, you'll help students navigate important concepts that shape society.
- Create a classroom environment that's inclusive, engaging, and conducive to open dialogue and critical thought.
- Work closely with staff to ensure your lessons align with the school's ethos and educational goals.
- Stay at the forefront of Religious Studies education and best practices, continuously evolving to engage students in meaningful ways.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- A deep passion for Religious Studies and the ability to make complex subjects accessible and exciting for students.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students and staff alike.
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students, helping them grow academically and personally.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
