We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team on a long-term supply basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a positive impact on students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and attainment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching science at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

This role is expected to last until January 2025, but there is a possibility of an extension.
