Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students, making complex concepts accessible and exciting.
  • Foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
  • Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the science curriculum.
  • Ensure safety in the laboratory, adhering to health and safety guidelines during practical lessons.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • A degree in Science or a relevant field
  • Experience preferred with Secondary Schools
  • Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply
  • DBS on the Update Service required
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to make science fun and relatable through hands-on learning
