GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, starting immediately. This is an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Science to deliver engaging Science lessons, create lesson plans that align with the curriculum, and support students in their academic journey.

Responsibilities of Science Teacher:

  • Teach Science across various key stages in schools.
  • Develop and implement engaging Science lessons that follow the curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver a syllabus that excites and inspires students.
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans, ensuring all students are supported.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group academic support to enhance student learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, working collaboratively with fellow staff members.
  • Inspire students to develop a passion for Science, encouraging inquiry and exploration.

Science Teacher Job Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent such as QTLS, PGCE, or ECT is required.
  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Science at multiple key stages.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for supporting student development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality education.
