The role

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Science Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a successful local Secondary school in Sheffield. The desired Science Teacher will be working long term in an excellent mainstream Secondary School. You will be working with students with a wide range of ability levels from diverse backgrounds. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers but experience of teaching GCSE and A-Level specialists across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Science Teacher, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching Secondary General Science to KS4, and Core Science, and at least one of (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) up to at least GCSE.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
