Are you looking for a brand new role which offers flexible working across a wide range of secondary schools based in Sheffield and South Yorkshire? We are currently seeking dedicated Science Teachers to join Career Teachers with the focus for start dates in September to fulfill both long-term and short term roles required within multiple secondary schools

Requirements:

  • QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience as a Science Teacher within the key stage 3 & 4 levels or an ECT.
  • Flexible, committed, motivational and passionate about teaching.
  • A current DBS on the Update Service or is willing to complete a new one.
  • Able to easily commute to Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive Science lessons to students.
  • The ability to teach across the triple award modules (Biology, Physics & Chemistry)
  • Create a supporting and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum.
  • Maintain classroom standards in line with current school policies.
  • Cover a range of other subjects where required.

Salary & working hours

Daily rates of pay vary dependent on experience between £120 to £180.

This is a flexible role with both full-time and part-time positions available - meaning, you have full control of when you are looking to work and how many hours you want to complete.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
