Job Title: Teacher of Religious Education (RE)
Location: Sheffield, S9
Salary Range: £155 - £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start time: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to join their Humanities department. This is a full-time position starting immediately, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and reflection.
• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the school’s curriculum and values.
• Encourage critical thinking and open dialogue around cultural, religious, and ethical topics.
• Contribute to the wider school ethos and enrichment activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching RE at KS3 & KS4.
• A reflective practitioner with excellent classroom management skills.
• A commitment to nurturing a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
