We would like to hear from you.Hays are working in partnership with a vibrant Sheffield secondary school which has a wide catchment area, a diverse student population with significant EAL support. Recently rated by Ofsted as "Good", this school is ambitious for its students and therefore achieves great progress scores. The school is based in a modern, purpose built facility with excellent sports and leisure provision. With a new and experienced Principal in September 2024, the school has ambitious plans for the coming academic year.To work within an experienced Science department, the incoming teacher will be responsible for teaching KS3/KS4 students from year 7 - 10. The breadth of expertise in house will mean that the timetable may be flexible to accommodate the specialism of the successful candidate.To apply for this post, you will need:

  • Right To Work on a permanent basis in the UK (my school cannot offer sponsorship)
  • Full UK Qualified Teacher Status (or pending if you are finishing your training in 2024)
  • Experience of teaching general science, biology, physics or chemistry
  • Be living in or shortly moving to Sheffield or a commutable distance
