About the Role:

As an HLTA within this Alternative Provision setting, you will play a key role in supporting students who have struggled in mainstream education. You'll work closely with small groups and individuals, helping to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.

  • Delivering tailored lessons and interventions in line with the individual needs of the students.
  • Supporting classroom teachers in planning and assessment.
  • Managing behaviour in line with the school's policies to create a positive learning environment.

  • Providing mentoring and pastoral support to students.
