Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HLTA to join a dynamic primary school team from November 2024. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and provide additional support to pupils to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Planning and Delivery: Work closely with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Support Pupils: Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
  • Classroom Management: Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assist in assessing pupils' work and providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities: Participate in and sometimes lead extra-curricular activities and school events.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to continually improve your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Essential:
    • HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
    • Experience working in a primary school setting.
    • Strong understanding of the national curriculum.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable:
    • Additional qualifications or training relevant to primary education.
    • Experience in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
