About the Role:

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a friendly and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Sheffield. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will support the class teachers within EYFS and KS1.

The role is a full-time position from Monday to Friday each week. The hours will be 8.30am-3.30pm each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Planning and Delivery: Work closely with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Support Pupils: Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups in addition to whole class support.
  • Classroom Management: Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to continually improve your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
      • Experience working in a primary school or young people setting.
      • Prior experience working with students within a primary school setting
      • Strong understanding of the EYFS and primary national curriculum.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
