KM Recruitment is seeking a Teaching Assistant/STLS Tutor Trainer to work in a home/field-based role across South and West Yorkshire.
The position offers a salary ranging from £27,500 to £30,000, depending on skills and experience, along with an excellent benefits package.
Candidates must hold a recognized Assessor award and a teaching qualification at Level 3 or above, along with at least 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
Key responsibilities include assessing learners, delivering training sessions, and supporting learners with Functional Skills in Maths and English.
A full, clean UK driving license and flexibility with travel are required for this full-time, permanent position.

Hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
Hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET etc.)
Must have experience of delivering accredited training in Teaching Assistant/STLS and/or Early Years.
Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency as a Teaching Assistant/Teacher.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards the Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning, and also Childcare if competent to do so.
Plan and deliver engaging sessions both online and face to face with learners.
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
