We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be working with a Year 1 class, providing support across all subject areas to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Support the delivery of both core and foundation subjects in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage and inspire students to reach their full potential.
  • Work with other staff members to ensure the students' educational, social, and emotional needs are met.
Essential Requirements:
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience of supporting children in a primary school setting, ideally within Year 1.
  • A passion for helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with children, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students.
  • A commitment to providing an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
