Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Night Senior Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the night-time operations of our care home, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents. You will lead a team of support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure that all care plans are followed and that residents' needs are met with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the night team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Conduct regular checks on residents and respond promptly to their needs.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the care home is safe and secure during the night.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a care home setting.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts.
