As a Sexual Health Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical care to patients accessing sexual health and HIV services. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of consultants, nursing, administrative, and pharmacy staff to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care and management to patients accessing sexual health and HIV services
- Offer consultant clinical advice within the sexual health team and to primary and secondary care colleagues
- Collaborate with colleagues and service leads to establish new clinical pathways
- Provide supervision and support for the multidisciplinary team
- Offer telephone and email advice to other healthcare professionals
- Ensure continuing responsibility for patient care, including associated administrative duties
