About The Role

We require a dedicated and passionate individual to manage supported living and or respite services throughout Sheffield and or Rotherham in an effective and person centred way. Previous experience in a similar environment or role is essential.

The ideal candidate would be an excellent communicator with excellent attention to detail, excellent IT skills, well organised, a team player, and able to work well under pressure. You should be flexible in terms of working pattern and be willing to work outside of conventional office hours, as well as be part of the on call out of hours service on a rota basis. You must have strong team leader skills and qualities as part of the role is to effectively develop and manage a team of support staff. You should also be able to demonstrate a strong background in managing Support services and staff teams, ideally within the learning disabilities field.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide direct line management, support, advice and motivation to staU teams to ensure that the people who use our services are supported to be independent and achieve their goals.
  • To ensure the highest quality and standards are met in the preparation of risk assessments and care plans ensuring that outcomes are monitored, met, and evidenced.
  • To ensure care plans and risk assessments are reviewed on a regular and consistent basis, and kept up to date at all times.
  • To deal with any complaints in a timely and consistent manner.
  • To ensure staUing levels are maintained through the production of rotas and monitor their eUectiveness and costs.
  • To develop an approachable and professional culture where good practice is implemented, encouraged, and recognised.
  • Taking part in the out of hours on call rota

We provide services city wide and as such you will be expected to travel between bases on a regular basis; it is therefore essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport for work.
