We're looking for a Social Work Assistant to join the Children's Disabilities services team in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to contribute to meaningful work within a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Social Work Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in assisting Social Workers and other professionals in delivering high-quality services to children and families with disabilities. By joining our dedicated team, you will help improve and maintain the standard of care provided in accordance with current legislation, regulations, and best practices. Whether you're working directly with children, young people, or supporting families, you'll be part of a compassionate and skilled team committed to positive change.

• Work closely with Social Workers to assess the needs of children and young people with disabilities, as well as their families and carers.
• Assist in identifying and implementing appropriate plans and services tailored to meet the needs of those you support.
• Contribute to specific pieces of work aimed at delivering targeted support to children and their families.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in line with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines to deliver the best possible outcomes for those in your care.

• Experience working with children, young people, and families in a social care or similar setting.
• A valid UK driving license to travel and visit clients as required.
