The Role

As an Assistant Planner / Planner, you'll be involved in a diverse range of projects, including:

  • Advising on the development potential of land and buildings
  • Assisting with planning applications, appeals, and policy research
  • Preparing representations for local plan consultations and examinations
  • Identifying land opportunities and supporting strategic site allocation
  • Collaborating with senior officers, clients, and consultants to deliver successful developments

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in town planning (from consultancy, local authority, or development)
  • A relevant planning qualification (or working towards one)
  • RTPI membership or working towards it
  • Strong writing, research, and communication skills
  • A passion for the built environment and planning sector
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
