The Role
As an Assistant Planner / Planner, you'll be involved in a diverse range of projects, including:
- Advising on the development potential of land and buildings
- Assisting with planning applications, appeals, and policy research
- Preparing representations for local plan consultations and examinations
- Identifying land opportunities and supporting strategic site allocation
- Collaborating with senior officers, clients, and consultants to deliver successful developments
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in town planning (from consultancy, local authority, or development)
- A relevant planning qualification (or working towards one)
- RTPI membership or working towards it
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills
- A passion for the built environment and planning sector
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
